The Montreal Canadiens has reportedly missed out on another free-agent, because according several media outlets in Pittsburgh, Brooks Orpik has re-signed a 6yr/22m$$$ deal with the Penguins.
The Rangers acquired Nikolai Zherdev and Dan Fritsche from Columbus for Fedor Tyutin and Christian Backman. Tyutin has just signed a contract extension in the last few months. (Strange Deal)
I'm hearing that Dan Boyle is close to being dealt. Keep an eye on that.
And also there might be several other Restricted Free Agents that might sign an offer-sheet.
