REPORT: MANNY RAMIREZ GOING TO THE DODGERS; JASON BAY TO BOSTON

The Boston Red Sox have traded slugger Manny Ramirez to the Los Angeles Dodgers, according to a report on SI.com.
The report says that Canadian Jason Bay will end up with the Red Sox while four prospects will go to Pittsburgh.
According to the report, the Pirates will receive outfielder Brandon Moss and reliever Craig Hansen from the Red Sox as well as third baseman Andy LaRoche and right-handed pitcher Bryan Morris from the Dodgers.
Laroche's brother, Adam, is Pittsburgh's first baseman.

Reds, ChiSox agree on Griffey trade, await approval

The Reds have traded Griffey to the White Sox, pending his approval. Griffey will decide Thursday morning whether he will approve the deal, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. It is not known what the Reds would receive in return.

Van Der Vaart to the Spanish Capital

Real Madrid are expected to complete the £8 million signing of Hamburg midfielder Rafael van der Vaart next week.
Marca says Hamburg chiefs expect the deal to be closed by Tuesday and are preparing to announce the Dutchman's departure for Madrid.
The Bundesliga club have accepted Real's improved £8 million bid, after throwing out a £5 million offer last week. Van der Vaart will ink a five-year Real Madrid contract after the weekend.

Russian Star to Hotspur???

According to SKY Sports Andrei Arshavin has agreed personal terms with Tottenham and a deal could be completed in the next 5 days between Tottenham and Zenit St.Petersburg.

Tottenham Hotspur have officially announced the capture of Blackburn Rovers midfielder David Bentley. The 23-year-old is set to be officially unveiled at tomorrow's press conference. The London side have yet to reveal a fee for the England international.

Keane makes Reds move

Liverpool have announced the signing of Robbie Keane from Tottenham.
The 28-year-old was on Merseyside on Monday for a medical and to discuss personal terms after Liverpool agreed a fee which could rise to £20.3million for the Irishman.

Sunderland have completed the signing of El Hadji Diouf from Premier League rivals Bolton Wanderers. Diouf has agreed a four-year contract with the Black Cats and joins for an undisclosed fee.

According to the Argentine press representatives from FC Dallas were in Uruguay on the weekend with the intention to lure River Plate midfielder Ariel Ortega to the club for three to four years.
FC Dallas are willing to pay the veteran $1.5 million per year, and according to reports Ortega will accept the offer. But it is not only a matter of money.

Chelsea set to land Kaka for record £80m

Chelsea appear set to sign the Milan playmaker Kaka for a world-record €100m (£79.3m) after discussions took place this week, with both clubs and the Brazil international keen for a deal to go through. Sources at Stamford Bridge have confirmed that Chelsea are targeting the 26-year-old and it is understood that Milan are inclined to accept a bid of €100m tabled this week.

Wade Redden to NY Rangers

He signed a 6yr/39m$$$ deal with New York. They have also signed Michael Roszival to a 5yr/25m$$$. And that means that they will not sign Marian Hossa.

Edmonton Oilers are close to sign Kristian Huselius to a deal. That also means that they will not sign Marian Hossa. It means that Montreal is leading candidate to sign him.
