New players in rescue at Manchester City

Instead of glamourous signings, Mark Hughes is going after Roque Santa Cruz and Craig Bellamy. Manchester City is close to sign both of them from Blackburn - 17m€ and West Ham - 8m€ respectively. The Sky Blues are also looking to sign Arsenal defender Kolo Touré on a 10 million€ transfer.
And finally, City, according to Daily Mail in the UK, are closing in on Chelsea defender Wayne Bridge and Villarreal's holding midfielder Marcos Senna.

City outbidding Chelsea....Again!!!!!

According to News of the World, Manchester City are closed to sign David Villa from Valencia CF for close to 60m€. Chelsea was interested in his services but Man City's offer is too good to turn down. His agent Luis Tamargo is expected in Manchester on Tuesday to close-out the 5yr/30m€ deal.

Man City is reporting to be offering Bayern Munich's star winger Frank Ribéry a reported 5.5m€ deal to come with the SkyBlues.

They are also ready to sign Kakà in January from AC Milan. Some sources are telling me that they will meet with Kakà's agent and the team's general manager in the next coming days.
