Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson is to be named as the new manager of the Mexican national side, according to Justino Compean, the president of the Mexican Football Federation.
According to Compean the Swede has beaten off competition from Portugal manager Luiz Felipe Scolari and will be named Mexico’s new manager on Tuesday.
