According to several sources, Sabres F Jason Pominville, Canucks G Roberto Luongo and several other star players will be availabe for selection come May for the World Hockey championship in Quebec and Halifax.
The Montreal Canadiens are interested in hosting an outdoor game in Montreal at 20 000 seat McGill Stadium right before the 2009 All Star Game.
