Pau Gasol to Lakers???

The Memphis Commercial Appeal is reporting that the Grizzlies have traded forward Pau Gasol to the Los Angeles Lakers for centre Kwame Brown, guard Javaris Crittenton and first-round draft picks in 2008 and 2010. The deal will allow Memphis salary cap relief to rebuild the team next season as former first overall draft pick Brown is in the final year of a contract that pays him $9,075,000 this season.
The Grizzlies were apparently not done there as another report out of Memphis had the team trading centre Stromile Swift to the New Jersey Nets in exchange for centre Jason Collins.

Mo Johnston is giving up his head coaching duties at Toronto FC to become the team's manager and director of soccer.
John Carver, a former coach at Luton Town of England's First Division, will take over as head coach, the Major League Soccer team announced Friday.

DC United is close to finalize a deal with a major sponsor before the start of the season. It is for the reason why DCU have removed the 3 stripes on the front of the jersey.
