Joni Pitkanen on the verge of being moved

Several sources in Edmonton telling me that Pitkanen will be moved to an Eastern Conference team in next the few hours or days. Possibly to Carolina or Boston, I'm being told.

I'm waiting on the news that will confirmed a rumor that Corey Perry has signed a new contract with the Anaheim Ducks. The signing of Perry in Anaheim will remove him from the Restricted Free Agent List, but like I said it not (Yet Confirmed).

The Lightning has been struck in Tampa

Tampa Bay has signed soon-to-be-unrestricted Ryan Malone to reported 5.2 m$$ Us a season but the longivity of the deal has not been reported yet. Gary Roberts has signed a 2yr/2.2m$$ deal with Tampa as well.

Mats Sundin is scheduled to announce his decision in the couple hours, just before July 1st. Some sources are telling me that he might sign with the Habs to a 2yr deal in the next few hours.

Cristiano Ronaldo on the move ????

Accroding to sources in Spain and England, C.Ronaldo will soon follow the likes of Ruud Van Nistelrooy and David Beckham and will force a transfer to Real Madrid. The deal will be completed in the next few days if not in the next few weeks. Real might pay up to 70m€ + Robinho or Wesley Sneijder in exchange of the portuguese star.

Barcelona and Bayern Munich are believed to be leading the race to sign the Belarus international, who wants to leave the Gunners.
But now, Hleb's former coach from his Stuttgart days Felix Magath wants to make him his third big-name signing this summer after acquiring Italian World Cup winners Cristian Zaccardo and Andrea Barzagli from Palermo.

According to Tuttosport, Arsenal have agreed to sell Emmanuel Adebayor for €31.5m, but the striker has told the club he only wants a move to AC Milan, and will not join Barcelona.

Deco looks set to choose to make a lucrative move to Chelsea after being offered a contract by the English side and snub the chance to team up with José Mourinho and Inter.

HABS GET PERMISSION TO TALK TO SUNDIN'S AGENT

Sources tell TSN the Toronto Maple Leafs are trying to encourage Mats Sundin to decide his playing future before July 1.
In the past 24 hours the Montreal Canadiens were granted persmission by the Maple Leafs to speak to Sundin's agent J.P. Barry about the possibility of the 37-year-old centre signing in Montreal.

According to a report in the Toronto Star, the Russian teams are prepared to offer the Russian-born Malkin a contract that would make him the highest-paid hockey player in the world. The multi-year contract would be worth at least $12.5 million tax free per season, or the equivalent of $15 million per year in the NHL.

Chelsea will do a MAJOR shakeup

Luiz Felipe Scolari will shake-up Chelsea's midfield and attack with moves for Deco, Ricardo Quaresma, Ronaldinho and David Villa, with Frank Lampard, Joe Cole, Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka among those likely to leave.
